Touchwood Entertainment board approved acquiring 51% stake in Vanam Wellness and Celebration Pvt Ltd for Rs 2.55 lakh in cash. Vanam, incorporated August 2025 in Jaipur, runs hotels, resorts and houseboat stays. Deal is not a related-party transaction, needs no regulatory approvals, and is expected to close in Q1 FY27. The company also posted Q2 FY26 standalone results: revenue Rs 22.53 crore (up 33% year on year), net profit Rs 1.72 crore (up 32% year on year), EPS Rs 1.55. The acquisition diversifies into hospitality to complement its event management business.
Diversification into hospitality at very low cost; Q2 shows healthy growth, but the acquisition is small relative to overall operations.
