TARIL announced Rs 1,250 crore of investment in three plants at its Chiyada, Gujarat complex to make bushings up to 800 kV, pressboard and insulation materials, and continuously transposed conductors. Construction began in December 2025, with operations planned for Q1 FY2027-28 under a wholly owned subsidiary. At full operation, the plants are expected to generate about Rs 2,000 crore in annual revenue and create over 1,000 direct jobs.
Positive for growth and supply resilience, with potential annual revenue of about Rs 2,000 crore. Returns depend on commissioning and capacity use.
