Trident Limited has sold its entire 100% stake in Trident Home Textiles Limited (THTL) to Lotus Hometextiles Limited for a total consideration of about INR 1.07 crore (10.5 lakh equity shares). The sale agreement was executed on June 17, 2025, and consideration has already been received, causing THTL to cease as Trident's subsidiary from the same date. THTL was not a material subsidiary, contributing only 0.004% of Trident's turnover (INR 2.88 million) and 0.06% of its net worth (INR 29.43 million) in the last financial year. The buyer Lotus Hometextiles is an unrelated third party and not connected to Trident's promoter group, and the transaction is not a related party deal.
This is a minor, non-core divestment with virtually no impact on Trident's financials or operations. Shareholders are unlikely to see any meaningful change in the stock price or business direction from this transaction.
