UCAL approved unaudited results for the September 2026 quarter and half year. Standalone September-quarter revenue rose 13.7% to Rs 22,893.63 lakh and profit rose 49.5% to Rs 877.88 lakh; half-year profit was unchanged year on year. Consolidated half-year revenue rose 6.9% to Rs 43,374.06 lakh, but a Rs 600.99 lakh pre-tax loss replaced Rs 1,895.90 lakh profit after Rs 125.12 lakh of exceptional dilution and labour-code losses.
Consolidated half-year loss and weaker margins outweigh revenue growth and may hurt investor sentiment, despite a stronger standalone quarter.
