Ugro Capital has reshuffled its senior leadership team effective 16th July 2025. Mr. Anuj Pandey, who was already with the company as Chief Risk Officer, has been elevated to CEO (designated as Key Managerial Personnel on 16th July). Three more changes followed: Ms. Irem Sayeed (earlier Chief Credit Officer) is now Chief Risk Officer, Mr. Sameer Nanda (earlier Chief Collection and Litigation Officer) takes over as Chief Revenue Officer, and Ms. Shilpa Bhatter joins as the new CFO. Two senior leaders have stepped down: Mr. Kishore Lodha resigned as CFO (last working day 16th July) to pursue an outside opportunity, while Mr. Amit Mande resigned as Chief Revenue Officer and will stay on till 8th August 2025 to ensure a smooth handover. The board has placed on record its appreciation for both outgoing executives.
This is a broad leadership refresh rather than a sudden exit – the new CEO and CRO are internal promotions, which usually signals continuity. However, the CFO change is a meaningful transition: Shilpa Bhatter brings 18+ years of BFSI experience (ex-Dvara, DKGFS where she raised over ₹4,000 crore in debt), so the market may view this positively. Investors should watch the next quarter's results to see how smoothly the new team settles in, especially around treasury and capital raising.
