On the reaction day the stock moved 0.4 pts more than Nifty 100 and in line with its Cement & Cement Products peers, over the same two closes: a difference in percentage points, not a measure of what the filing did.
Minute windows have no benchmark: there is no intraday index history to compare against.
UltraTech Cement has commissioned additional cement capacity of 1.8 mtpa across two locations: a 0.6 mtpa grinding unit at Dhule, Maharashtra, and a 1.2 mtpa integrated unit at Nathdwara, Rajasthan. With this addition, total domestic grey cement capacity rises to 188.66 mtpa and global capacity to 194.06 mtpa, including 5.4 mtpa overseas.
Capacity expansion supports future volume growth and reinforces market leadership; near-term impact depends on cement demand and pricing.
