Union Bank of India reported standalone net profit of ₹1,869.71 crore for FY2025-26, up 3.95% from ₹1,798.71 crore in the previous year. Total income remained flat at ₹12,542.70 crore. The bank improved its asset quality significantly with Gross NPA falling to 2.82% from 3.60% and Net NPA to 0.48% from 0.63%. Capital adequacy ratio strengthened to 18.10% with CET1 at 15.69%. The Board recommended a dividend of ₹5 per equity share (50%). During Q4, the bank made a one-time provision of ₹700 crore to strengthen standard asset coverage. The bank also raised ₹3,000 crore in Infrastructure Bonds and reported 290 fraud cases involving ₹2,274.46 crore, fully provided for.
