Inox Wind Limited announced that execution of a 990 MW turnkey wind project — part of its 1,500 MW framework agreement with Purvah Green Private Ltd. (a subsidiary of CESC Ltd., part of RP-Sanjiv Goenka Group) — is in full swing across Gujarat, Rajasthan, and Madhya Pradesh. The company has already received all advances for these projects, and commissioning will begin in phases from FY26 onwards. The order is described as the single largest wind order awarded by an Independent Power Producer (IPP) in India to any wind OEM. Inox Wind has a manufacturing capacity of about 2.5 GW per annum, making this a very large multi-year order for the company.
This is a positive development for Inox Wind shareholders — a marquee, large-scale turnkey order with advance payments already received reduces execution risk and supports revenue visibility from FY26 onwards. Backed by a strong promoter group customer (RP-Sanjiv Goenka), it strengthens Inox Wind's order book and credibility as India's leading wind OEM.
