WABAG secures ADB funded Large DBO Order from Melamchi Water Supply Development Board, Government of Nepal

VA Tech Wabag has won a large Design, Build and Operate (DBO) contract from the Melamchi Water Supply Development Board under the Government of Nepal. The project is being funded by the Asian Development Bank (ADB). DBO contracts typically span several years covering design, construction and a long-term operations & maintenance phase, providing multi-year revenue visibility. The company highlighted the win as a 'Large' DBO order, indicating it is a material addition to its order book. This adds to WABAG's international footprint in the water infrastructure space, where it already has a strong presence across Asia, the Middle East and Africa.
