On the reaction day the stock moved 1.6 pts more than Nifty 100, over the same two closes: a difference in percentage points, not a measure of what the filing did.
Minute windows have no benchmark: there is no intraday index history to compare against.
Q2 FY27 revenue was Rs 22,066 crore, up 5% from June quarter, but profit after tax was Rs 6,187 crore, down 6%. H1 revenue: Rs 43,171 crore, profit after tax Rs 12,784 crore and earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation Rs 20,691 crore. Versus restated H1 FY26, revenue rose 176%, profit rose 203% and earnings margin widened. A Rs 485 crore pretax charge covered the bauxite dispute and stamp duty. Review found no issues.
Q2 profit fell despite revenue growth; H1 growth and Rs 8/share dividend support sentiment. The bauxite charge and demerger restatement are concerns.
