Vedanta Iron and Steel published unaudited results for the quarter and half year ended September 30, 2026. H1 revenue rose 8% to INR 6,468 crore, while EBITDA rose 54% to INR 598 crore. Q2 revenue was INR 2,788 crore and net loss was INR 311 crore, or INR 0.80 per share, versus profit of INR 122 crore a year earlier. H1 net loss narrowed to INR 189 crore. The iron ore unit moved from Vedanta to the company on May 1, 2026.
Higher revenue and earnings help, but the Q2 loss may weigh on the stock. The iron ore transfer changes the business mix and complicates comparisons.
