Vedanta Oil and Gas reported Q1 FY27 gross operated production of 77.7 kboepd, down 17% YoY from 93.2 and 5% versus FY26 average of 81.5. Rajasthan, the largest asset, fell 15% to 63.1 kboepd. Ravva declined 17% to 7.0, OALP fell 12% to 3.1, and Cambay dropped 32% to 4.6. Cambay PSC extension was rejected by the oil ministry in Sep 2025; Vedanta has challenged it and Delhi HC ordered status quo. Management is focused on arresting base decline via enhanced oil recovery, exploration drilling, and infill wells.
Production decline across all assets and Cambay PSC uncertainty are headwinds; growth pipeline yet to deliver. Negative near-term.
