Board approved Q1 FY27 audited results with revenue of Rs 588.85 Cr, up about 17 percent YoY, net profit Rs 50.03 Cr. Declared Rs 1 per share interim dividend, record date August 13. Approved new fibre cement and calcium silicate boards plant at Tonk, Rajasthan, adding 72,000 MT capacity (around 21 percent increase) at Rs 175 Cr capex, expected by December 2027. Existing capacity runs at 100 percent utilization. Also approved a Rs 10 Cr construction chemicals line at Tumkur, Karnataka.
Growth capex partly funded by borrowings may pressure near-term returns but supports long-term growth as existing plants are fully utilised.
