Mr. Kuldeep Sharma, Vice President – Legal & Compliance, who was designated as a Senior Management Personnel, has resigned from Vishal Mega Mart due to personal reasons. He had originally tendered his resignation on July 23, 2025, and was formally relieved effective close of business on March 11, 2026. The company has already appointed Mr. Sambit Swain as General Counsel – Legal & Compliance (announced in November 2025), and he will now take over the legal and compliance function. Mr. Swain brings over 16 years of experience, having previously served as Director (Legal) at Coca-Cola India, and has also worked at Reckitt Benckiser, McKinsey, and HDFC.
