Waaree Energies subsidiaries signed a Shareholders Agreement and Energy Supply Agreement with Ultratech Cement. Ultratech will take 26 percent stake in step-down subsidiary SHEPL for INR 27.75 crore. SHEPL is a new SPV for a power project supplying electricity to Ultratech. Not a related party deal. Completion targeted within 180 days.
Partnership with Ultratech Cement strengthens Waarees renewable energy business and provides long term offtake visibility from a blue chip client.
