Walchand PeopleFirst published unaudited quarter and first-half results for September 2026, approved by the board on 22 October. Q2 revenue from operations was Rs 1,019.66 crore, up 5.8% year on year, but profit after tax fell 8.3% to Rs 110.28 crore. For the first half, revenue rose 14.5% to Rs 1,970.74 crore and profit after tax rose 42.5% to Rs 312.58 crore. EPS was Rs 10.76 versus Rs 7.55.
Strong first-half revenue and profit growth is positive for shareholders, but the Q2 profit decline may temper near-term stock sentiment.
