The Board approved unaudited Q2 and half-year FY27 results. Q2 total income was Rs 2,870 crore, up 16.9% year on year. Earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation were Rs 370 crore; margin rose to 12.9% from 6.9%. Profit after tax was Rs 169 crore versus Rs 14.86 crore a year earlier. The group moved to net cash from Rs 775 crore of net debt in March and recorded a Rs 7.16 crore exceptional flood loss at Vapi.
Positive: higher sales, profit, margins and net cash may support the stock, though restoration of flood-hit Vapi operations is still pending.
