Under the deal, Wipro will design, develop, implement, and support a Smart Meter Data Management (MDM) system for the transmission network, enabling real-time monitoring of power flow, voltage, and equipment data. The project aims to modernize meter data platform, improve grid stability, enable intelligent forecasting, and reduce operational costs and outages. The deal supports Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030 digitalization agenda. The financial value of the contract has not been disclosed.
