On the reaction day the stock moved 1.4 pts more than Nifty 100 and 2.6 pts more than its Port & Port services peers, over the same two closes: a difference in percentage points, not a measure of what the filing did.
Minute windows have no benchmark: there is no intraday index history to compare against.
Adani Ports handled 46.8 MMT cargo in June 2026, up 13 percent year-on-year, driven by containers up 18 percent and liquids up 11 percent. Q1FY27 total cargo reached 138.1 MMT, up 15 percent year-on-year, led by containers and liquids. However, logistics rail volumes fell 22 percent YoY in June and 19 percent YoY for the quarter.
Strong double-digit cargo growth in June and Q1FY27 is positive for revenue. Rail logistics weakness is a small concern.
