AVG Logistics won a long-term contract from a leading cement manufacturer to deploy 30 heavy-duty EV trucks for inbound and outbound bulk logistics across the North East region. The contract runs for 5 years, extendable by 3 years, and is valued at about Rs 18 crore per annum. Trucks will carry 38-41 MT net load per trip with GPS and digital tracking. AVG will also set up and operate dedicated EV charging stations under the deal.
Adds around Rs 18 crore per year in recurring revenue over 5 years, strengthens industrial logistics portfolio and supports margin expansion via EV efficiency.
