Bajaj Consumer Care's board has approved several leadership changes effective July 1, 2025. Mr. Naveen Pandey, a business leader with over 20 years of experience including 2 years as MD of a listed company, has been recommended as the new Managing Director for a 5-year term, subject to shareholder approval. He will replace Mr. Jaideep Nandi, whose 5-year term as MD ends on June 30, 2025. In the finance function, Mr. Richard D'Souza (Head-Finance) has resigned to pursue opportunities outside, effective July 7, 2025, and will be replaced by Mr. Aakash Gupta, a Chartered Accountant and IIM Indore MBA, as the new Head-Finance. The board also approved expanding the RSU 2018 employee stock plan pool from 7,37,500 to 12,37,500 options.
This is a planned, orderly leadership transition with a new external MD and a finance head replacement. For shareholders, the focus will be on Mr. Pandey's strategy execution going forward; a smooth MD transition is generally viewed neutrally to positively, while the RSU pool expansion slightly increases potential stock dilution.
