Mr. Anup Kumar Saha has resigned as Managing Director and Director of Bajaj Finance Limited effective close of business on 21 July 2025, citing personal reasons. The Board has accepted his resignation and recorded its appreciation for his services. To ensure continuity of management, Mr. Rajeev Jain, who was already Executive Vice-Chairman, has been re-designated as Vice-Chairman and Managing Director (VC & MD) for the remainder of his existing term, which runs until 31 March 2028. Mr. Saha also ceases to be a Key Managerial Personnel (KMP) for materiality-related disclosures under SEBI Listing Regulations.
The transition is being managed internally with a senior existing leader (Rajeev Jain) taking over MD responsibilities, which should provide stability. However, the sudden exit of the Managing Director for personal reasons may create short-term uncertainty and is likely to draw investor attention until the market gets comfort on the new leadership arrangement.
