BEML unveiled India's first indigenously developed 60-ton Electric Dump Truck, BH60-EV, at its Mysuru Complex. Key features: 54,500 kg payload, 1,000 kWh lithium-ion battery, zero tailpipe emissions, 40-60 percent lower operating costs versus diesel, and around 130 tonnes annual CO2 reduction per vehicle. The launch expands BEML's electric mobility portfolio for mining and infrastructure, following its 35-ton electric dump truck launched in April 2026.
New product strengthens BEML's clean-tech heavy equipment lineup and mining vertical, but no orders or revenue numbers were disclosed.
