Central Bank of India announced two senior management changes effective 31 May 2026. First, Shri Mukul N. Dandige, Chief General Manager and Chief Financial Officer (CFO), retired upon superannuation. Second, Shri Suryanarayana Murty Saladi, General Manager of the MSME Department, also retired on the same date due to superannuation. Both retirements are routine and age-based, not due to any controversy or performance issues. The bank has not yet announced replacements for either position.
The CFO departure is significant as it leaves a key financial oversight role vacant. Investors should monitor for the appointment of a new CFO, which is mandatory under SEBI regulations. The GM-MSME change is less material as it pertains to a business unit head rather than a top-level executive.
