Indian subsidiary GMR Hospitality won the bid to design, finance, develop, operate and manage Food and Beverages outlets at Terminal 3 of Delhi's Indira Gandhi International Airport. Initial period runs until May 2036, extendable by 10 more years. License fee follows a revenue share model with a minimum monthly guarantee to DIAL, another subsidiary. Estimated aggregate license fees: about Rs 49 crore for FY 2026-27 and about Rs 109 crore for FY 2027-28. The deal is a related party transaction between subsidiaries on arms length basis.
Adds a new revenue stream for the subsidiary, but limited material impact on GMR Airports since the deal is largely intra-group with DIAL.
