On the reaction day the stock moved 3.5 pts more than Nifty Microcap 250 and 3.6 pts more than its Port & Port services peers, over the same two closes: a difference in percentage points, not a measure of what the filing did.

Gujarat Pipavav Port signed a non-binding agreement with the Gujarat Maritime Board for future investment of Rs 17,000 crore at Pipavav Port. Planned work includes higher container, liquid and roll-on/roll-off handling, expanded storage and rail siding capacity, specialised equipment, a deeper waterfront and better road, rail and sea links. The plan depends on extending the company's concession beyond September 2028.
May support long-term growth, but it is non-binding, needs a concession extension beyond 2028 and would involve major capital spending.
