IndusInd Bank's Part-time Chairman Sunil Mehta will step down on Jan 30, 2026 after completing his tenure. The Board has appointed Arijit Basu, former SBI Managing Director and ex-CEO of SBI Life Insurance, as Non-Executive Independent Director and Part-Time Chairman effective Jan 31, 2026 for three years, subject to shareholder approval. RBI has already cleared the appointment.
Smooth leadership transition with an experienced banking veteran taking over the chair. No disruption expected for shareholders.
