J.Kumar Infraprojects has received two major infrastructure contracts worth ₹2,487.65 crores in total. The first contract from Mumbai Metro Rail Corporation is for designing and constructing an underground pedestrian vestibule connecting Science Centre Metro station to Worli Promenade through Mahalaxmi Racecourse, valued at ₹521.77 crores with a 24-month execution period. The second contract from MCGM (Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai) is for constructing vehicular bridges and elevated roads in Malad (West), valued at ₹1,965.88 crores under a joint venture where J.Kumar holds 73% stake, translating to ₹1,435.09 crores for the company, with a 42-month execution period. Both contracts are domestic and from government entities.
The combined order value of approximately ₹1,957 crores (company's direct share) represents a massive boost to the company's order book, likely exceeding 5% of annual revenue and providing clear revenue visibility for the next 2-3 years.
