Kernex Microsystems has won a Rs 411.17 Crore (incl. GST) order from Banaras Locomotive Works (BLW), Varanasi, a government unit under Indian Railways. The order is for supply, installation, testing and commissioning of 505 On-board KAVACH Loco safety equipment as per RDSO specifications. KAVACH is India's indigenous automatic train protection system. Delivery timeline is 12 months from the purchase order date. The order is domestic and not a related-party transaction.
