Kotak Mahindra Bank has announced a leadership change at its risk function. Mr. Paul Parambi, the current Group Chief Risk Officer (GCRO), will step down as GCRO on June 11, 2025, ahead of his planned retirement on June 30, 2025. He will continue with the bank in the role of Group President – Risk until retirement. The Board has appointed Ms. Srishti Sethi as the new GCRO and Senior Management Personnel for a five-year term, effective June 12, 2025. Ms. Sethi brings over 30 years of experience in enterprise and credit risk, banking, and wealth management, with prior leadership stints at Hero Fincorp, IDFC First Bank, and GE Capital. She holds a PGDBM from IMS Ghaziabad and certifications in CISA and CRISC.
This is a planned, orderly succession at the top of the bank's risk function and is unlikely to materially affect the stock. The incoming GCRO has strong domain credentials, which should provide continuity in risk oversight for shareholders.
