On the reaction day the stock moved 5.8 pts less than Nifty Microcap 250 and 5.3 pts less than its Finance peers, over the same two closes: a difference in percentage points, not a measure of what the filing did.
Minute windows have no benchmark: there is no intraday index history to compare against.
CareEdge raised the outlook on Muthoot Microfin’s USD 50 million borrowings from Stable to Positive and reaffirmed its long-term BB- foreign currency rating. It cited better asset quality, operations and parent support. In Q2 FY27, assets under management rose 22% year on year to ₹15,323 crore, disbursements rose 28% to ₹2,900 crore and collection efficiency reached 98.11%. Gross non-performing assets fell to 3.7% from 4.8% in March 2025.
Positive for credit standing and funding access as asset quality improves. It is not an equity recommendation and needs sustained performance.
