PVV Infra's board has cleared a strategic MoU with ITC Services Company Limited (Taiwan) for technology transfer and consultancy covering high-efficiency solar cell manufacturing, battery energy storage systems (BESS), micro-inverters, and smart power electronics, with phased rollout targeted in 14–18 months. As a result, the company is nearly doubling its Andhra Pradesh clean-energy manufacturing project from about ₹650 Crore to roughly ₹1,250 Crore, expanding the scope to a fully integrated complex: 1.2 GW TOPCon solar cell line, 1 GW solar module assembly, BESS assembly, and a micro-inverter plant. The board also appointed Mr. Tse Hsiung Norman Lao, a senior global executive linked to the Taiwan partner and formerly with Leyard Opto-Electronic, as a Non-Independent Additional Director effective February 9, 2026. The expansion is positioned to access central and state manufacturing incentives, cut import dependence, and support India's renewable energy and Atmanirbhar Bharat goals. Execution is subject to phased implementation, financing closure, and milestone delivery.
Strongly positive for the stock narrative — a foreign technology tie-up, a near-doubling of project scale to ₹1,250 Cr, and a globally experienced director signal a serious push into vertically integrated clean-energy manufacturing; however, project value remains subject to financing and execution milestones, so delivery risk stays high for retail investors.
