RVNL has emerged as the lowest bidder (L1) from East Central Railway for a doubling work project worth about Rs 358.97 crore including 18 percent GST. The scope covers 41.04 km of construction including earth work, minor and major bridges, station buildings, platform work and level crossing work on the Kundawa Chainpur to Raxaul stretch in the Sitamarhi-Raxaul section. Completion timeline is 1095 days. The project is a domestic EPC tender awarded in the normal course of business with no related party interest.
