On the reaction day the stock moved 1.4 pts less than Nifty Microcap 250 and 1.0 pts less than its Diversified Retail peers, over the same two closes: a difference in percentage points, not a measure of what the filing did.
Minute windows have no benchmark: there is no intraday index history to compare against.
Shoppers Stop invested Rs 10 crore in Global SS Beauty Brands Limited by subscribing to 1,000 optionally convertible preference shares. This second tranche is under a board-approved plan of up to Rs 40 crore, taking preference capital held to Rs 135 crore. The wholly owned beauty retailer plans to use the funds for expansion and working capital. Its FY26 turnover was Rs 379.75 crore, versus Rs 220.02 crore in FY25. Ownership remains 100%.
It supports subsidiary expansion and working capital, but adds Rs 10 crore of cash exposure without raising Shoppers Stop's ownership or control.
