2 more big IPOs are due to start trading by 31 Oct.

Small-company (SME) IPOs are a separate market and are not counted here. 6 of them started trading in October up to 7 Oct.

This counts IPOs by the month their shares first started trading. It says nothing about how much money they raised or how any of them did.

How it is measured

Counts every big (main-board) IPO in our records by the month its shares first started trading, from January 2021 to 7 Oct 2026: 451 in all. October 2026 is not over yet, so its count runs to 7 Oct. Left out: 3 property or road trusts (REITs and InvITs), because they sell trust units and not company shares, and 11 records with no IPO type.

Small-company (SME) IPOs are a separate market and are not counted: 6 started trading in October 2026. Our records hold only 3 big IPOs from before 2021, so "the most" means the most since January 2021. A month marked 0 had no big IPO start trading.
